Voyage Utah Interview 2026
This year I was thrilled to be featured in Voyage Utah's Hidden Gems series, and this opportunity was really special to me because as I work day to day I don't often get the chance to stop and remember how things started and realize how far they have come. Mindful Canine Dog Training has been in business in Cedar City, Utah for over 5 years now- which I feel is only just enough time to start to properly see real patterns, turning points, and seasons of growth.
When Voyage Utah first reached out, I was sure it was a scam. But after checking the referral source and realizing that this was a legitimate opportunity I became really excited to share my story full of some serious ups and downs. Looking back through these experiences- such as getting mauled and learning about dog training while scrubbing an AirBnb toilet- made me realize how sometimes what seem like setbacks are actually foundational.
